This project involved removing the majority of an existing single-story hillside home and building a new two-story, luxury home in its place. This home is located in Pacific Palisades, which required us to navigate city and coastal requirements and considerations. Our design boasts a master suite with a balcony, four bedrooms, each containing a large walk-in closet and private en suite bathroom, a second-story lounge area, living room, family room, kitchen, pantry, dining room, breakfast nook, and wine room. The house is topped off with a roof deck that provides a stunning ocean view.
We provided an open floor plan with a beach-like feeling. Frameless glass guardrails at the roof, balcony, and stairs, as well as a bank of skylights, accentuate the open feeling of the home. The large, double sliding doors create an openness with the outdoors as well, and the covered patio contains built-in heaters, which allow the outdoors to be enjoyed year round.
