Our clients were so thrilled with the house we designed for them that they requested we design their landscape remodel as well. Having a great working relationship with our clients made it easy to design a landscape that we knew they would love. Our clients wanted to be the hub of activity for the their four children and all their friends. They also had a large extended family in the area. This meant that our clients would be entertaining almost non-stop.
We wanted the exterior spaces to match those we had created in the interior of their home—namely, charming gathering areas of different sizes that reflected the Spanish-style of the home. To accomplish this, we designed a welcoming entry path in the front yard with stairs leading to a relaxing point of arrival, a fountain. The surrounding garden features Southwestern-style paving and plant material.
The rear yard of this project features a lovely pool and spa. At the poolside is a cabana with an arcade of arches. An outdoor fireplace for entertaining on cold nights allows this resort-style backyard to be used year round.
