We were hired by one of our talented Landscape Designers to create an outdoor kitchen and pool house for this home located in the inland area of Southern California. The goal of the design was to provide necessary support spaces that would enhance and complement the design of this lovely, newly constructed home located on a one-acre lot.
Columns topped with arched openings house the outdoor kitchen, equipped with everything needed for grilling and entertaining. A curved stairway provides access to a balcony from which homeowners and their guests can enjoy the view of the nearby hills. Off the rear entrance of house, we designed a trellis-covered patio with plenty of room for seating and entertaining. To add versatility to this structure, a retractable shade allows the occupants to tailor the amount of sunlight to their desires.
Separate from the home, we designed a new pool house complete with bathrooms, a seating area, a fireplace, and equipment room. Our design creates a perfect place to hang out and enjoy the pool. Trellises, columns, and other features protect from the harsh summer sun and also integrate the outdoor space with the architecture of the home.
