As part of Grisafe Architecture’s 20th anniversary celebration, we wanted to take the time to highlight our team members, who are a huge part of what makes Grisafe Architecture great!
A couple of years ago, Grisafe Architecture was in need of some help with the administrative and accounting tasks for our growing business. Enter Dylan Lisk. Dylan came to us with the exact skills that were needed to help our Long Beach architecture firm run more efficiently from a business standpoint. Dylan has a firm grasp on everything related to business accounting and business development. He received his AS in Business Administration from Long Beach City College in 2019 and is an Enrolled Agent. Prior to coming to Grisafe Architecture, he had spent five years handling tax filings for both businesses and individuals.
Dylan definitely keeps our financial house in order. He takes care of all of our bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, and has also taken on many office management and HR tasks, such as handling hiring and compensation. In addition, Dylan is the one we go to with questions about which business expansion opportunities we should pursue. He always provides us with a great perspective from a financial standpoint, and we highly value his insights. He is a great asset to the Grisafe Architecture team!

Dylan understands that for most architects, accounting is an afterthought and is patient when explaining accounting strategies and terminology with the staff.”
Since coming to Grisafe Architecture, Dylan says he has appreciated the opportunity to learn a new accounting software, as well as a new project management system. He is also picking up on some of the ins and outs of architectural design.
Dylan enjoys the team atmosphere at Grisafe Architecture, saying, “Everyone here is intelligent and listens to each other. We have a very collaborative environment in which we all make each other better. As a boss, Mark is flexible and listens to everyone’s feedback before making decisions.”
Outside of work, Dylan enjoys sports and keeps active playing volleyball and tennis, as well as hiking. He also enjoys camping and going to karaoke with his friends.
