Grisafe Architecture is looking for an experienced Revit CAD Operator to join their growing team. This is a full-time position that will require the team member to work primarily in our Long Beach office, with occasional work-from-home opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who lives in or around the Long Beach area and meets the following qualifications:
- Fluent in Revit
- Has experience drafting floorplans, site plans, building sections, and building elevations
- Has 3D Modeling experience
- Has at least one year of experience working on U.S.-based projects
The individual we hire must have good communication skills, since there will be regular interaction and collaboration with clients, city officials, and other Grisafe Architecture team members. It is important that he or she be a self-starter, internally motivated, and be able to stay organized while managing multiple projects at once. A strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to further develop his or her professional skills are also valuable traits in the ideal candidate.
Job Responsibilities
The person hired for the Drafter/CAD Operator position will be responsible for the following:
- Drafting residential and commercial plans to company standards using Revit
- Measuring existing commercial and residential buildings
- Submitting plans to city planning departments for approval
Other office tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis. Some local travel is required, so candidate must have reliable transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Hourly rate: $25-30 DOE
