I was recently contacted by Businessing Magazine, an online publication dedicated to small business ownership, about a feature in a new series of articles they have launched called “5 Questions With.” As the name implies, “5 Questions With” asks the same five questions of multiple small business owners in various fields to get their insights into starting and running a small business.
Even though it was a fairly short interview, I feel like I was able to communicate my approach to business and what makes M. Grisafe Architects different from other architecture firms, particularly when it comes to involving clients in the architectural design process. The title of my interview is “Treating Clients Like Team Members: 5 Questions with Mark Grisafe,” which is something that is very important to me. As I say in the interview, “…we prefer to work with our clients, rather than just for our clients on design projects.”
I was also able to articulate some things I’ve learned in the course of doing business, which I hope will be helpful the small business owners and entrepreneurs that frequent the pages of Businessing Magazine. I’ve learned a lot about business from other entrepreneurs who have shared their experiences with me, so if I am able to offer a nugget or two of advice from my own experiences, I am happy to do so.
Even if you aren’t a small business owner or entrepreneur looking for business insights, the interview will give you a small glimpse into the way we do business and what we have to offer. You can read the full “5 Questions With” article on Businessing Magazine.
As you may recall, this isn’t the first time we’ve been involved with Businessing Magazine. Back in February, M. Grisafe Architects was featured in a business spotlight on their website, with an article that focused on the charitable work our company participates in and how it has helped shape our company. You can read that article here. I appreciate the opportunity to be involved with Businessing Magazine again and the chance to talk about M. Grisafe Architects’ approach to business.
