For this project, we transformed a residence in Bay Island into a multi-use building where the members of the community now hold events. We added a large sliding door to the back wall that, when opened, connects the event room to the outdoor, trellis-covered deck that overlooks the grounds. A trellis at the front matches the large one at the back, while providing cover for those waiting at the door.
Because this was a project that required community buy-in, we used advanced rendering techniques to provide imagery of what the new space would look like within the existing surroundings to help community members visualize the finished product. Materials were selected that would provide an inviting feel, while keeping the cottage’s charm and appeal.
