Community outreach has been a recurring theme since the earliest days of our Long Beach architecture firm. In this project, we were able to help a local high school update their facilities to meet modern education standards and better meet the needs of some of their brightest students.
The emergence of a curriculum that incorporates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEAM) created a need for a STEAM lab at Saint Joseph High School. Prior to our involvement, this space was essentially a nondescript storage area. By thoughtfully incorporating state-of-the-art lighting, spirited murals, careful detailing, and interesting furnishings, we were able to economically turn this space into a showpiece for the school.
