Typically, our clients come to us after they have already selected a site or identified a building that they want us to improve. Once in a while, however, we are asked to get involved earlier in the process. Such was the case with this project.
After narrowing down several prospective locations to start their unique business venture, the owners of Suite Beauty Salon requested that we accompany them to the sites to help them finalize their decision. The building that we determined to be the best candidate was an abandoned art supply store in the City of Orange. This building had the right combination of anchor stores, interior space, parking, and other amenities that made it the right choice.
Though there were some power upgrades required due to the high power usage of hairdryers and other electrical equipment, we were able to quickly convert this retail space into a series of trendy private salons, where beauty professionals are empowered to run their own businesses within an industrial-style space.
